A message to our valued customers about the Coronavirus (COVID-19)

At Xpress Maids, the health, safety and well-being of our customers and employees is our first priority. We understand the concern and uncertainty you may be experiencing surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) and are committed to being responsive to the needs of our customers and employees as the situation continues to evolve.

As we monitor current developments pertaining to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are closely following guidelines from local and state public health authorities, including the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and our own operational contingency plans to ensure business continuity and the fulfillment of our service obligation to our valued customers while working to protect the well-being of our customers, employees and their families.

Therefore, effective immediately, we are implementing the following guidelines.

  1. As always, we will continue to strictly implement our Color-coded Microfiber Cleaning System (CMCS). To avoid cross-contamination, we only use color-coded microfiber cleaning towels to dust, clean and wipe every surface in your home. This CMCS system ensures that towels used to clean surfaces in the bathrooms will never be used in the kitchen or any other living spaces.
  2. All cleaning towels are daily washed in hot water, soap, and hospital-grade disinfectant, and are dried at high temperatures before use.
  3. Sick employees, especially those with respiratory symptoms are required to stay home and notify supervisors of illness.
  4. All maids are required to wear face masks that completely cover the mouth and nose before entering each house and at all times during the cleaning process.
  5. All maids are required to wear shoe covers and gloves at each house’s point of entry and at all times during the cleaning process.
  6. Our house cleaning procedures will include the disinfecting of frequently touched surfaces like doorknobs, door handles, light switches, faucet handles, appliance door handles and knobs, sinks, toilet covers, counters, all bathroom fixtures, and the moping of bathroom floors and kitchen floors with a hospital-grade germicidal.
  7. Should anyone in your home become symptomatic please let us know immediately so that together we can take precautionary measures to avoid employee exposure.

We will continue to closely monitor this quickly evolving situation and evaluate the need for supplementary measures to safely service our customers and support our employees.

Thank you for your support and loyalty. Our offices will remain open during regular business hours to serve you and answer any questions that you may have.
